Professional Training
Three Principles Therapy collaborates with The NorthEast Health Realization Institute (NEHRI) to offer a comprehensive Training of Practitioners wanting to work from and teach the Three Principles.

The intent is to develop a cadre of people who work in prevention, human services, education, human resources and other fields to effectively apply the Three Principles in their work, in communities, and in their personal lives. Certification may be available upon completion for those who request it.

Training Philosophy
From personal experience we know that when the understanding called Principle-based Psychology is applied in communities, in organizations, in families, and work settings, peoples’ lives improve. We can start a ripple by training others who work with and affect others.

We also know from experience that people who attempt to accomplish this need a solid understanding and grounding, and ability to convey Innate Health and the Three Principles; thus a certain immersion in this understanding and practice is necessary.

Purpose
To assist an ever-increasing number of people to live in well-being through improving understanding of how the Three Principles apply to their daily lives and their work.

Desired Outcomes
By the completion of this long-term training of practitioners program (6-8 sessions @ 1 weekend/month) participants will:

1. have a working understanding of the Three Principles and the “mechanism” behind what it takes to live in well-being;
2. be personally grounded to the extent that they live generally happy, healthy, caring, productive lives with peace of mind and in healthy relationships;
3. be able to convey this understanding to others so it affects others’ lives in healthy ways;
4. be able to effectively apply an understanding of the Three Principles to bring about healthy changes in community and/or work settings.

Results
Before offering a long-term training we participated in one. We found that job stress and burn-out disappeared early on during our training and continue to this day, 15 years later. This has been echoed by our students over the years.

We found that uncovering health in others is so far beyond looking for mental-illness, that it seems too ludicrous to even mention. Our personal lives as well as our students’ personal lives have improved over the course of training and continue to improve because of the nature of understanding Principles rather than teaching of techniques or precepts.

I have had the pleasure of working alongside Lori for over a decade to help people gain this inside-out understanding as a foundation for living a mentally healthy life. I find Lori to be extremely insightful, and she has a beautiful way with people. This combination makes her very helpful to others and a pleasure to work with.
